This records information pertaining to number plates. From the QT tab, select Plate Control Register in the Register group.
As soon as plate stock is received from QT – it should be inserted into your plate control register. This will mark the number plates as available in your program and allow them to be allocated to your transactions.
Adding Number Plates
From your plate control register:
1.Select the ‘additions’ tab
2.Click ‘add’
3.Select the plate style
4.Enter the beginning plate number and check digit
5.Enter the finishing plate number and check digit
6.Click Save
Ordering more plates
You will find that your number plates are on an automatic re-order cycle established by QT. If you find that you need to order more plates, simply send through a Requisition form outlining the amount of plates you require and the reason.
1.Click on the Requisition Form button
2.Enter the details of changes required (the number of plates you want to order and the reason why you need additional number plate stock)
3.Click OK – the form will print
4.Sign the order form and fax to Dealer Solutions Client Service
Where do I keep my number plates?
Number plates must be kept in a Locked, safe dry environment. QT Also stipulate that they must be issued in strict numerical order.
