Rego Expiry Date

Top  Previous  Next

There are 2 ways that you are able to check the registration expiry in Dealerlogic, by completing a Check Registration Expiry Date and a Vin/Rego Expiry.

Check Rego Expiry Date

This transaction will confirm the current registration expiry date for vehicles that are in stock at your dealership.  Vehicles will need to be currently registered (not cancelled or expired) and in the CRN of the dealership (so you need to have acquired them, or registered them as a demo)

1.Open the Check Rego Expiry date transaction

2.Select if searching on a stock number or plate

3.Enter the stock number or plate detail

4.Click on send

5.The current registration expiry will be returned, along with an option to update the stock card with the expiry date

VIN\Rego Expiry Check

This is a better way to confirm registration expiry as it sends a request through to Dealer Solutions Client Service where the registration expiry will be checked as well as confirm the VIN and Engine number with TRAILS.

There is no limitation as to what vehicles you can run this check on, so you are able to do it for vehicles in stock, as well as vehicles you are about to purchase.

1.Locate the vehicle in your stock list

2.Right click on the line and select ‘VIN & rego expiry check’

3.Enter in any additional information if required

4.Select lodge request

This will send the request to Dealer solutions Client Service who will confirm the VIN and Engine match the information recorded with TRAILS for the registration provided.  You will be given the registration expiry and an option to update the stock card with this expiry date.
