Selling a personalised plate

Sell personalized plate transaction is performed when you need to order a set of personalized plates for either your dealership or for a customer. Dealer Solutions and Personalized Plates Queensland support can help when processing these transactions.

1.Open the Sell Personalized Plates Transaction

2.Select how you are wanting to make the ownership selection (from client card or from CRN) and enter customer/s details

3.Click on Plate Delivery Tab

4.Select where the plates are going to be delivered:

         a. Deliver to primary owner address

         b. Deliver to secondary owner address

         c. Deliver to ‘other’ address (useful if delivering to the dealership as this will let you be specific about the destination, don’t forget to mark it for the attention of someone’

5.Click on Plate Detail tab

6.Click on ‘check plate availability’ to check that the plate you are wanting to sell is available

         i. This will open the List available plates transaction

         ii. Enter the plate you are wanting to search on (you can also use * as a wildcard for numbers)

         iii.Select the product type

         iv.Select the plate type

         v.Click send

         vi.Highlight the plate and click ‘select’

7.The selected number plate will be inserted into your transaction and the plate product and the plate type will be selected already

8.Select the name of the salesperson

9.Click on personalized plate detail tab

10.Select spec type By Code, or by description

11.Select the appropriate colour scheme

12.Select style 1 and style 2

         a.Enter the prestige plate format (if there are two words as part of the plate, it will be indicated by a ‘/’ so, fast car will be entered as fast/car)

13.Click send
