Amount

The amount fields are designed to permit entry of GST inclusive or exclusive prices or alternatively no GST at all.

Where the amount you wish to record:

Already includes GST – Enter the full amount into the first amount field, and click the GST Inc button.  Dealerlogic will calculate 1/11th of the amount as the GST.  This amount will be deducted from the first field, inserted into the GST field, and included in the total.

Excludes GST but where GST will be payable and an Input Tax Credit can be claimed – Enter the amount into the first amount field, and click the GST Ex button.  Dealerlogic will calculate 10% of the amount entered as the GST.  This amount will be inserted into the GST field and added to the original amount to determine the total figure.

Excludes GST but where the vendor is not a GST registered entity and no Input Tax Credit is available – Enter the amount into the first amount field.  Do not use either GST button.  Dealerlogic will not make any provision for GST or an Input Tax Credit in regard to this item.
