Traded On

If this stock item was acquired as a trade-in on another sold stock item, it must be linked to the sold stock item through the Settlement tab of the sold item.

Note: One of the features of Dealerlogic is that you can have both stock items open on your screen at the same time.  Having both the sold vehicle and the trade-in open at the same time will make understanding this relationship easier.

When creating this stock item (the trade-in), the traded-on vehicle’s details will not appear until the traded-

on stock item (the sold stock item) is linked through its Settlement tab to this vehicle.

Once linked, the details of the sold stock item will reflect in this field.

•NB: You cannot enter or alter the link here.

•Note: The two stock items are linked for profit calculations and GST reporting purposes.

•If the traded-on details are not correct, select the sold vehicle from the Stock Locate, open and edit the Settlement details.
