The Check customer transaction is performed to confirm the Drivers License/CRN that has been recorded matches the name QT has recorded on Trails.  Queensland Transports database will only confirm if the information you have entered is correct or not.  It will not supply information to you.  So it is a very black and white response, but a useful starting point.  This transaction will not provide you with any information and it needs to be an exact match to what is recorded on TRAILS.

 

1.Open the Check Customer Function  on the QT Tab

2.Select using the radio buttons if for an individual or an organization

3.Enter the CRN you are wanting to confirm

4.Enter the name details (if for an individual – be mindful that there is a separate field for first name, middle name and surname)

5.Click send

6.If your details are correct, you will receive a message ‘Customer is valid’

If you are not correct, you will receive ‘The customer was not found’
