Check if a model is listed with Makes & Models
You will find that this transaction is useful if you want to confirm if a new model has been listed with QT Makes and Models.
1.Open List Vehicle Models Transaction
2.Select Make
3.Select Model
4.Select Body Shape
5.Enter year (of manufacture, not compliance)
6.Click send
A list will be returned of the Makes and Models that match the information you have entered.
Adding a new Model
Occasionally you may find that a model hasn’t been added to the list with Makes and Models, it happens from time to time when new models are released. It is simply a matter of letting the Makes and Models department know the details, this is done via a Make/Model request form:
1.From the List Vehicle Models Transaction, select ‘Make Model Req Form’
2.Print the form
3.Enter the information required
4.Fax to Makes and Models department (the number is on the top of the form)
Normally, new models are listed the same day as the form is received – you can check if it has been listed by doing a List Vehicle Models Transaction.
