Check Plate Owner

If processing a transaction using a personalised plate, you will need to have confirmation that you are using the correct CRN; this transaction is a great place to start.  However, you will have to remember that it is a direct response from the TRAILS server, so it will give you a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer.

1.Open the Check Plate Owner transaction

2.Enter CRN 1 and select the role type (primary customer normally)

a.Enter CRN 2 (if there are any) and select the role type (secondary customer or registered operator)

3.Enter the plate number and check digit and select the state (always QLD)

4.Click send

Check Registered Operator

If processing an acquisition you will need to have confirmation that you are using the correct CRN, this transaction is a great place to start as it will confirm if the details you have are correct.  However, you will have to remember that it is a direct response from the TRAILS server, so it will give you a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer.

2.Enter CRN 1 and select the role type (primary customer normally)

a.Enter CRN 2 (if there are any) and select the role type (secondary customer or registered operator)

3.Enter the plate number and check digit and select the state (always QLD)

4.Click send
