Personalised Plates are currently on a vehicle and they need to be attached to a used car or registered demo.
1.Remove and replace plates on trade
(the personalised plate is now free)
2.Transfer sold vehicle with current plates on it
3.Replace the stock plate on the sold vehicle with the personalised plate
4.Acquire trade-in with new stock plate number
Personalised Plates are not on another vehicle (vacant)
1.Transfer sold vehicle with current plates on it 2.Replace the stock plate on the sold vehicle with the personalised plate a. Open the replacement plate transaction b. Select ‘other vehicle’ c. Enter the stock plate details, state, make, model, VIN d. Select how you will be making the ownership selection (this is the owner of the registration) and select client card or enter CRN e. Click on new plate tab f. Select personalised plate, enter the personalised plate details g. Enter the date of replacement h. Tick ‘print label’ i. Click on Surrendered plate tab j. Select Plate style, surrender reason (normally replaced with owned), and the number of plates k. Click send
Personalised Plate is on the car we are selling but we want to put stock plates on it
1.Replace Personalised plates on sold vehicle with a stock plate a. Open the replacement plate transaction b. Select ‘Dealer Stock’ c. Enter the personalised plate details, state, make, model, VIN d. Select how you will be making the ownership selection (this is the owner of the plate) and select client card or enter CRN e. Tick ‘is this a personalised plate’ (you will ALWAYS tick this when removing a personalised plate from a vehicle, note that the surrendered plate tab disappears – you wont be surrendering these plates) f. Click on new plate tab g. Select stock plate h. Enter the date of replacement i. Tick ‘print label’ j. Click send
