Cancel Registration - Where a vehicle, which currently has Queensland registration and/or plates and is being sold without registration, a Cancellation transaction must be effected. (It is an offence to sell a vehicle with Qld plates attached where the actual registration has expired, regardless of who is purchasing the vehicle.)
New Transaction - Cancel Registration
1. Enter Stock Number
2. Transaction Date
3. Cancellation Reason
4. Number of Plates Surrendered
5. Plate Surrender Reason
Print - Plates and Windscreen Label are to be removed from the Vehicle and Paperwork is to be signed and set aside to be taken to the Queensland Transport Customer Service Centre for processing.
