Client Card – allows you to select purchaser from a saved client card.
Letter of Authority: You may prefer to wait until the vehicle has been delivered before you print your transfer transaction. In this instance you are required to have your customer sign a ‘Letter of Authority’, which provides you with the customer’s permission to complete and sign the registration documents on their behalf once the transaction has been accepted. Click on the Letter of Authority button to generate the Letter of Authority form and complete it with the correct information (Dealerlogic will fill out as much detail as possible). Blank letters of authority can also be obtained from the Docs menu and completed when a customer is purchasing the vehicle.
If a Letter of authority is completed by your customer then the authorised signatory at your dealership must sign the Transfer paperwork where the new registered owner would normally sign. The Letter of Authority must be included when taking the transaction paperwork to QT Customer Service Centre for processing.
Remember the customers signature must be on either a Letter of Authority or the registration or transfer documents.
