Please be advised that a special arrangement has been made between the Queensland Police Service and Queensland Transport with respect to the delivery of new and used vehicles where personalised plates have been ordered but not yet received. A customer is legally able to take delivery of a new or used vehicle and drive without plates under the following conditions: •A new personalised/prestige plate has been ordered in TRAILS •The new or used vehicle has been registered with this same plate combination on the SAME DAY as the plate was sold •The customer has the relevant Queensland Transport receipt for the plate order in the vehicle •The Customer has a copy of the New Business Application in the vehicle •The customer is awaiting the manufacture and delivery of the plates •The customer is driving within Queensland ONLY •The plates must be physically attached to the vehicle immediately upon the plates being delivered to the dealership or an alternate address
